So einen Anblick hatten wir mal vor Jahren im Damaraland. Alles unter Wasser und voller Lilien. Voll geil

Visitors only allowed during this period.

Gate open - 26.3.2025

Gate close - 30.3.2025

Gates open at 07:00 to 19:00 daily.

Sedan cars - yes its possible 40km gravel
Directions - From Maltahohe take the D861 for 37 km to Sandhof.

Camping allowed -No

Facilities - No

Something to eat and drink available - Yes at the entrance gate.

Fires allowed-yes,only if you bring a portable fire stand.

- Do NOT PICK OR DESTROY ANY LILIES !!
- No littering,use the bins around the pan.
- No driving on the pan or in Lillies,follow the orange flags and signs.
- No speeding
- No fires on the ground.

Burgsdorf 57 km
Maltahohe Hotel 37km
Betta 140 km
Namseb Lodge 45km
Hudup Guesthouse 37km
River Chalets Mariental 150km

The raod from Maltahohe to Sandhof will be busy over the weekend. With a lot of dust,please drive slow and be careful.
