Hello guys

which is the best solution for a sim card in south africa for a month to do some internal call and use the internet a couple of hours a day.
I do not have much time to buy in Johannesburg, But more than anything else I was interested in which company is best and what kind of Sim is best to buy

Thanks
Giorgio

MTN and Vodafone are equally good.
My choice for internet and phone normally is MTN for the lower rates.

Buy at the airport, all are available, Voda, MTN and CelC, all are equally good.
They will also advice you accordingly.

By a vodacom sim card and airtime for R 330 ( 3 x 110)

You need a passport and some kind of proof of residence
may be a hotel booking, to RICA the card (Register)

Swap R 279 into 1 GB datas.

You do this by first charging the airtime on the card
with *100*01*pin of the slip#

than you dial *111#
than press
2 buy Bundles
1 Data bundles
1 For myself
1 Once Off
7 R 279 for 1 GB
than follow the menu to confirm.

To check balance on the phone dial *100#

To check datas dial *111# and follow the menu.

You can than buy airtime from R 9 up to 110 to make calls.

Enjoy your trip !
