Someone can please explain where are the timelines in Botswana, which is where we must move forward or backward by 1 hour watches?

Hi Girogio,

Botswana has one time zone and no daylight-saving time (unlike most of Namibia). So the time is always the same as in South Africa, meaning CAT or SAST.

ok but if (In August Namibia DST)i come from Windhoek and entry in Botswana from Mamuno Border, there's a zone where change time or is same time of Namibia?
If i am in Caprivi when through Kongola bridge I have to move the clock forward 1 hour and i think is same hour for Botswana when entry fron Ngoma Bridge

Hi Girogio,

first of all the Region of Caprivi is not having daylight-saving time as the rest of Namibia, so they are always the same time as South Africa or Botswana. The rest of Namibia is changing on 1 April and back on 2 September. In-between Namibia is one hour behind Botswana and South Africa. Consequently, if you travel from Namibia to Botswana in August you win one hour (13:00 Botswana is 12:00 Namibia).

But why worry... there are clocks of the times at the Namibian and the Botswana border poast.
