Eine Gruppe von Unruhestiftern die sich über die, wie uns ja heute bekannt ist, gefährlichen und pöööhsen Social Networks koordinieren.
Ihre Beschreibung ist hochprovokativ:
So kommen wir an die in der Beschreibung erwähnten lustigen Geschichten "dämlicher Selbstfahrer" und können uns hier darüber amüsieren!

A Group to finally unify those of us working either directly in the tourism industry in Botswana, or close enough, who are far too frequently brought face to face with the utter stupidity, complete incompetence and total disregard for wildlife, both fauna and flora, so often demonstrated by that awful creature, the Self-drive tourist.Und nun zu meinem Plan: Um diese gemeine Bedrohung zu beseitigen, müssen wir sie infiltrieren - und zwar so: Ein FoMi mit Facebook und ohne irgendwelche Anzeichen, dass sie/er Selbstfahrer sein könnte, schlecht sich in die Gruppe ein. Am glaubwürdigsten wäre es natürlich, wenn sie/er auch im südlichen Afrika lebt.
You know them; The Britz's, the ASCO's, the Bushlore's, the Just Done It's, the GP lot, The MP lot, the FS lot, the whole bloody lot!
Anything with a yellow numberplate beginning N, or a line of 6 brand spanking new Touaregs, or those Bastard pirate operators we all see in Khwai; all in Botswana's fine National Parks and Game Reserves.
We know them. We hate them. We don't want them. They contribute nothing to Maun or Botswana. They have no respect. And worst of all, why do they all want to know the way to Third Bridge - Bastards!
So let us use this group to vent frustration, share stories, and generally create a little bit of humour in a harmless way, cos unfortunately we can't lynch 'em......although I think a few people may disagree...... If you have any cracking photos of complete stupidity being demonstrated, or even a video clip, chuck them on.
And now a little soap-box action:
With so many small scale operators in Botswana (i.e. a Motswana guide with a mobile C licence, vehicle and equipment), surely we should be banning self-drive tourists from the National Parks and Game Reserves and forcing them to use local operators to enter any Wildlife Management Area, thereby, finally contributing something to the local economy, other than through fuel and Spar. Places like Kazikiini, Santawani, Mankwe and Sankuyo could work as park and rides, meaning that only licensed local operators are in the NPs and GRs. What do you all think?
