wir hoffen im April für 3 Nächte in Swakopmund zu sein und wollten dort eigentlich gerne die Klipspringer Canyon Tour der Swakop Tour Company buchen, die es aber leider nicht mehr gibt. Der Beschreibung nach wäre sie perfekt für unsere Wünsche gewesen:
"On this drive of about 5 hours we venture into the alluring, archaic landscapes around the Khan and Swakop River Canyons. We follow faint paths across time-worn plains, through avalanched rock in rugged gorges and into the craggy, well-vegetated wild canyons. En route we stop often and do short walks to look at, to look into – and interpret the many miracles, small or large, that Nature presents to us. The specific area Georg has chosen for his desert forays is of relatively inaccessible and uncharted terrain, conveying a feeling of overwhelming remoteness and blissful solitude.
Preferably the tour is done in the afternoons; then the desert landscape is glowing in a subtle bronze light, the sea breezes provide for pleasant temperatures. We usually have a tea & coffee break in a tributary ravine of the Khan River valley. Stories, histories and anecdotes. We return to town around sunset, in time to experience the twilight mood of the moon landscape"
Gibt es ein Unternehmen, das ebenfalls nachmittags bis möglichst bis zum Sonnenuntergang eine Tour im Khan/ Swakop River Canyons / Monnlandscape anbietet? Ganztägig wäre auch möglich. Leider habe ich nichts ähnliches gefunden.
Am ehesten noch die Kallisto Mineralien & Canyon Tour, aber ich fürchte, dass die für uns zu sehr auf die Mineralien konzentriert ist.
Oder eventuell alleine dort eine Tour machen? Allerdings würden wir dann dort wohl viel übersehen und verpassen?
Ich würde mich sehr über Hinweise und/oder eigene Erfahrungen mit Ausflügen in dieses Gebiet freuen.
